3. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to information collected through the Site and through our mortgage brokerage activities in the United States. Different rules apply to different types of information: - Nonpublic Personal Information (NPI) you provide to obtain a mortgage is governed primarily by the GLBA. Our handling of that information is also described in the GLBA Privacy Notice we provide during the application process (see Section 7). - Other information — such as data collected through marketing, the contact form, cookies, and general Site use — is governed by this Policy and by applicable state privacy laws. This Policy does not apply to the practices of third-party lenders, partners, or websites we do not control. Once your application is submitted to a lender, that lender's own privacy notice also applies to the information it receives.

4. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: - Contact details — name, email address, phone number, mailing address, preferred language - Inquiry details — the loan program you're interested in, property type, timeline, and the content of your messages - Application information — when you apply for a mortgage, we collect the information needed to qualify you, which may include your date of birth, Social Security number, income, employment, assets and liabilities, credit history, and details about the property Information collected automatically when you use the Site: - IP address and approximate location - Device, browser, and operating system information - Pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and time spent - Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy) Information from third parties: - Credit reporting agencies (your credit report and score, with your authorization) - Verification services, lenders, and public records - Advertising and analytics partners We collect Social Security numbers and other sensitive financial data only when needed to process a mortgage request and always with the appropriate authorization.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: - Respond to your inquiries and provide a free consultation - Evaluate your eligibility and match you with suitable loan programs and lenders - Prepare, submit, and track your mortgage application - Communicate with you about your request by phone, text, email, or messaging apps (with your consent — see Section 8) - Verify your identity and prevent fraud - Operate, secure, and improve the Site - Comply with legal, regulatory, and licensing obligations - Send you information about products or services that may interest you (you can opt out at any time) We do not use automated decision-making to deny credit. A licensed human reviews your file, and lenders make the final credit decision.

6. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as needed to serve you and as permitted by law:

We do not sell your nonpublic personal information. We do not share your NPI with third parties for their own marketing without your consent. See Sections 7 and 10 for your right to limit certain sharing.

7. Your Choices About NPI Sharing (GLBA)

As a financial institution, federal law gives you the right to limit some — but not all — sharing of your nonpublic personal information. Federal law does not let you limit sharing that is necessary to process your transaction, maintain your account, respond to legal requests, or carry out everyday business with the lenders and service providers involved in your loan. When you apply for a mortgage, we provide a separate GLBA Privacy Notice that describes the categories of information we collect, the parties we share it with, and any opt-out choices available to you. To exercise an available choice or ask questions about our financial privacy practices, contact us using the details in Section 18.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising. You can manage your preferences through our cookie banner or your browser settings. For full details about the cookies we use and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: - Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you - Delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions - Correct inaccurate personal information - Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — note that we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA - Limit the use of sensitive personal information - Non-discrimination for exercising your rights Important: Personal information that is nonpublic personal information collected, processed, or disclosed under the GLBA is exempt from the CCPA. The rights above therefore apply to information that is not already governed by the GLBA — for example, data collected through the Site, the contact form, cookies, and marketing. To exercise your rights, contact us using Section 18. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

11. Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others where we are licensed — may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information. As with the CCPA, information governed by the GLBA is generally exempt from these state laws, so these rights apply to non-GLBA information such as Site usage and marketing data. To exercise any available right, contact us using Section 18. If we decline a request, you may have the right to appeal; our response will explain how.

12. How We Protect Your Information

Consistent with the GLBA Safeguards Rule, we maintain a written information security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including: - Encryption of sensitive data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) - Access limited to those who need it to serve you - Secure document collection and e-signature tools - Ongoing monitoring and staff training No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.

13. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet the recordkeeping requirements that apply to mortgage and financial transactions. Federal and state lending rules generally require records to be retained for several years after an application or loan closing. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it. Records related to consent for calls and texts are retained for at least the period recommended for compliance.

14. Children's Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults seeking mortgage financing and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

16. U.S. Audience

Mortgage Service Pro serves clients in the United States, and our services are offered only where we are licensed. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. Your information will be processed in the United States.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version on this page. For material changes, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
